What is going on with our game?

Is it a society problem or just a football thing?

We've all seen the QPR v China players fighting
We've witnessed the scum v chelski fight in the carling cup final
We've witnessed their reserve teams fighting
and yesterday Inter v Valencia!

Something has to be done. Not a smack on the wrist and don't do it again.

It used to be on the terraces, but now there are fights breaking out on the pitch. I want it stamped out now.

If the authorities had any balls they could clean up our game.

Points deductions, relegations, full season suspensions, fines of 6 months wages for the players and managers, club fines of 20% of their home gate revenues for the next 6 months.

I know it's a physical game but if a fight breaks out, it doesn't need the whole team, the reserves and the coaching staff to dive in too.

The only people who should be allowed to try and quell the situation should be the team captains and the officials. If anyone else gets involved then punnish the club accordingly. Penalties as above would soon stop it.

quite agree they are professionals and should act accordingly, this behaviour is not tolerated on the street. It's the worst part of the game and needs to be dealt with hard, firm and fair.

Consistency above all is paramount, but will uefa or fifa do anything......no of course not, a stupid fine is the most they manage if at all.....points deductions for teams and long bans for players would soon sort it......

I also believe retrospective action shoud be taken, then even if the ref misses it players and teams would soon get the picture that there is no hiding place.

this coming from a dad with two young boys 7 & 5.....they need guidance....my 7 year old plays on a sunday and he and his team mates have picked up some bad habits from watching their idols.

Lets look after our beautiful game......

They bottled it, surprise surprise.

What gets me is, Feyernoord get thrown out of a competition for crowd trouble, but when the thugs are on the pitch, actually employed by the clubs, it seems ok.
