I have not been able to attend any Spurs matches last season (2006-07) due to unexpected health problems and other commitments and wasn't been able to use my club membership to buy tickets. Now, I'm still deliberating whether to renew my club membership albeit at Bronze level as I am almost recovered. I am very concerned about rises in match ticket prices, and I can't allow these rises to affect Spurs supporters' personal development for peace's sake. Plus, I would like to enquire about people who has spur-of-the-moment decisions to go to Spurs home matches -- will they be able to buy General Sale tickets on matchdays? I doubt it as I see the stadium capacity being small -- and I fear the season tickets might be sold out leaving no General Sale tickets for those matchday people.

I propose for the 2007-08 season -- why not keep 500-1000 seats reserved for matchdays and then sell tickets on those days? It will sure look good to the media especially as I still remember people buying tickets for me on matchdays when I was a kid in 1980. So why not bring the good old matchday ticket sales back?

I'm interested in the report about the USA consortium being interested in owning Spurs. i'm not surprised especially as I have good connections in USA -- especially with Information Technology/Computer Science career. I met one clever American cockerel in October 1998 who looked at me with genuine interest and excitement, and seemed to say, 'So you are a supporter of mine! Please ask your friends to come around to do voluntary work on my farm for abused farm animals!' I was happy and knew that Spurs would do well. Boy I was right -- Spurs won the Worthington Cup in May 1999! So please thank that American cockerels and please make sure cockerels will never be abused by their owners either in UK and USA, especially as I was sick to read about West Country farmer abusing farm animals including cockerels and chickens but fortunately he got jailed.

So you see, I'm very motivated to help Spurs to do even better next season but am equally anxious not to damage my economics in the long term. Do hope Spurs go on to reclaim glory glory days for God's sake and get some more friends instead of enemies! Well, at least I hope so.

very amusing post but the upshot is.

1. Glad you are back to health although the last part of you post means you are not quite there.

2. I dont think the police would like a few thousand people turning up without a ticket on matchdays.

3. as for the Chicken story. you are on the wrong forum.

listen very carefully and you will hear in the distance a two tone horn getting louder and louder, this my old son means that a shiny white van with a blue light on top is about to pick you up and take you away.
