The guy is a real talent. He is already been called the best player in the championship. Shame HR is not interested. A run in the side was all he needed not 5 minutes here or 10 minutes there. Potentially another quality player we will lose.

Yep, unfortunately HR seems to have other ideas, let's hope he might change his mind but Taaby seems determined NOT to return.

How do you know what Harry's ideas are, perhaps he is a better man manager than you seem to think so, and will introduce Taaby, as you call him, when he's ready and the time is right.
And as far as Tarrabt is concerned, I will believe it when he says it that he doesn't want to come back, not when some gutter press journalist thinks it.

And how would you know HR's ideas? . It is pretty obvious that Arry does not rate Taaby that much orelse he would have kept him at the Lane and not risk losing a player that he would have thought to have enough talent. I know the media do normally talk a load of rubbish, however, they do sometimes tend to get a few right too. Whatever the case may be, I think that we should look after the young talent and not scrap reserve teams, loan them out, okay to get the experience but at the same time, there is a greater risk of losing them too.

The whole reason of doing away with reserve team fixtures is to get the players league experience by loaning them out, it works Peter, why do you think other clubs do it? Didn't we have Fazier Cambell on loan from Manure, he didn't stay long on his return though, but it did give him league experience and put him in the spotlight.
There's no real danger of losing them as they remain our player and on contract, the only way they can go is if they really want to and the club are willing to get rid of them!!!!!!!!!
If that is the case then good riddance to them, that's all I can say, yes I suppose once or twice a player of real potential will slip through, but if they were doing well at the club before they went on loan, then there's every reason to think they will do so again on their return, unless that is they have a doubt in their heads, and that might be the reason to let them go also!!!

Taarabt also recently said that he would never put on a hoops shirt again. He obviously took that back.

He surely just wants to be starting regularly in the premiership - if we offer him that, then I'm sure he'd take it. But what are the chances of that (can you see Taarabt | Modric | Palacios | Lennon happening)?

Hope we get him back in May and he impresses enough in pre-season to at least be in the mix. Can't see him staying unless he is at least a semi-regular starter.

He is a talent and would be a shame to see him go. But realistically, we aren't where Man U or Chelsea are, and don't offer the same lure to be able to keep such players on our bench. We are also competing to move into that league of teams, and at this moment the likes of Modric and Lennon in a balanced team offer us more hope of that than Taarabt.

I'm sure he could get a starting spot in another mid-table team who could do with a creative midfielder - an opportunity he might well take. Personally hope he comes back and shows the biz in the summer and start of next season (who knows what the team will look like then though!).

Fair enough, however, I think instead of constantly loaning such talented players out, Arry should pick them to play in the Carling Cup and if necessary in the FA Cup.

Please tell me where he would fit into the side once we have a fully fit squad?

He's a luxury player that won't fit in at the moment.
